India is progressing towards a greener future with greater acceptance of electric cars. And even celebrities from Bollywood have begun embracing electric mobility in a big way. Recently, popular Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan’s son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, was also seen in an all-electric BMW iX SUV. He was seen arriving at a restaurant with Big Boss winner Shweta Tiwari’s daughter, Palak Tiwari.

The video of Ibrahim Ali Khan with Palak Tiwari in a BMW iX electric SUV has been shared on YouTube by CDS India on their channel. It starts off with Ibrahim Ali Khan sitting behind the steering wheel of the BMW iX and Palak Tiwari sitting shotgun on the front passenger seat. Both were being photographed by paparazzi in front of a restaurant’s gate.
It may be noted they were unable to take their car inside. So, they walked to the restaurant. Following their dinner date, both walked out towards the BMW iX which was being driven by their driver. Ibrahim Ali Khan first makes space for Palak Tiwari and lets her enter the car and then gets inside from the other side. The BMW iX is then seen leaving the restaurant.
BMW iX electric SUV
The all-new BMW iX is the flagship electric SUV sold by the German carmaker in India. This EV SUV gets distinct features including a hexagonal steering wheel and a massive curved display housing a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch infotainment display. The iX also comes loaded with features, including an electrochromic panoramic glass roof, multi-function seats with memory and massage function.
Other luxury touches on the BMW iX include bespoke leather upholstery, ambient lighting, BMW virtual assistant, head-up display, wireless charging, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay, 4-zone climate control, 18-speaker system from Harman Kardon, soft-close doors, surround-view camera and park assist.
Coming to the powertrain side of things, this SUV draws its power from a dual electric motor setup. This setup makes 326 PS and peak torque of 630 Nm. It can do 0-100 km/h in just 6.1 seconds and can reach a top speed of 200 km/h.
Available in a single trim of xDrive 40, the iX comes with a 76.6 kWh battery pack. As per the WLTP cycle, it can do a maximum range of 425 km on a full charge. BMW supplies a 2.3 kW charger that can be used to charge the car to 100 percent in 7 hours. BMW iX with a DC fast charger system can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 73 minutes at 50 kW capacity. Also, when charged with a 150 kW charger, it will take only 31 minutes for the battery to be recharged from empty.

Apart from Ibrahim Ali Khan, a number of other popular people in India own this all-electric SUV. The list includes the popular actress Nushrratt Bharuccha who bought her SUV finished in a lovely shade of Aventurine Red Metallic.
Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari also owns a BMW iX. His SUV is finished in a shade of Mineral white metallic.
Lastly, popular Bollywood couple Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza also own a BMW iX. They paid Rs 1.16 crore for this SUV and it is also finished in the same Aventurine Red Metallic color as Nushrratt Bharuccha.
