Doing stunts on public roads is completely illegal, and we have seen several stories in the past where such stunts have actually caused inconvenience or accidents. Here, we have one such viral video from Lucknow. The video shows two men standing on a moving BMW sedan, posted on a social media platform. The car was being driven dangerously, and one man almost fell out of the car. After the video was published, the police took action against the men.

The video was shared by Vipul Thakur on their Instagram page. In this short Instagram reel video, we see a BMW 3-Series sedan being driven recklessly in Lucknow. One person is sitting on the roof of the sedan, while the other is hanging out of the rear door, which is left open, standing on the door sill.
The driver, as seen in the video, is driving the car rashly. When the driver makes a quick turn, the person standing out of the door is thrown away. Luckily, he grabs onto the vehicle hard, and the other person on the roof also holds him. This small video shows how dangerous it is to do such stunts on public roads.
The men were doing these stunts at night. If you check the same Instagram profile, there is another video where at least 4 men are hanging out of the moving sedan. The video was recorded on a phone by another person who was with the same group but in a different car. It is clear from the video that the driver and the men seen here were doing the stunts for the sake of publicity.

The video was published, and it soon became viral on the internet. Such a video of men doing stunts in the capital city of Uttar Pradesh doesn’t leave a good impression. The cops came across the video and soon took action against the men. The vehicle was identified, and so were the men.
Within 48 hours of the video being published, the police department arrested the two men under section 207, which allows police officers and other authorized personnel to detain and take action against vehicles found being driven without the necessary permits and registration. They can even seize the vehicle if it is found to be used for any illegal purpose.
The men were arrested, and the BMW luxury car was seized as well. We have said it several times that public roads are for everyone and it is not a place to do such stunts. If you really want to do such stunts, you should do it on a closed road or a private track or property. As seen in the video, the man almost fell on the road.
If he had not held tight to the door, he would have fallen on the road and injured himself badly. This is not the first time Uttar Pradesh police has taken action against such people on the road. We have seen cops issue hefty fines against social media influencers for creating inconvenience to other road users.
