Honda Elevate, City And Amaze Available At Rs. 1.15 Lakh Discount


If you are looking to buy a new car, May will be your month. Honda India is offering exciting discounts across its entire India lineup. This includes popular models such as the City, Amaze, City Hybrid, and the newly launched Elevate SUV. Let’s dive into the details to see how much discount is offered on each car.

Starting with the Honda City, the company is offering benefits of up to Rs 1.15 lakh. The top-spec City ZX comes with discounts of up to Rs 88,000, while lower variants receive benefits worth Rs 78,000. Additionally, the City Elegant edition, which comes with some cosmetic changes, is offered with a whopping discount of Rs 1.15 lakh. A discount of Rs. 58,000 is offered on the V (MT and CVT) and VX (MT only) variants.

Powering the Honda City is a sole 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine. This engine delivers a power output of 119 BHP and 145 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a CVT. People looking to buy a Honda City can also consider other options such as Hyundai Verna, Skoda Slavia, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and Volkswagen Virtus.

Moving on to the Honda Amaze, buyers can save up to Rs 96,000 this month. The base-spec E variant comes with benefits of up to Rs 56,000, while the S and VX variants offer discounts of up to Rs 66,000. The highest discount of Rs 96,000 is available on the unsold stock of the Honda Amaze Elite Edition, which was launched in October 2023.

The Honda Amaze is powered by a smaller 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, which delivers 90 BHP and 110 Nm of torque. This engine can be mated either to a 5-speed manual or a CVT gearbox.

For those interested in the Honda City hybrid, the V variant comes with benefits of up to Rs 65,000. This hybrid sedan packs a punch with its 1.5-liter petrol engine and two electric motors which deliver a combined output of 126hp. Transmission options include a e-CVT gearbox only. The USP (unique selling point) of the Honda City Hybrid is its fuel economy. The sedan can drive up to 27.13 kilometres on one litre of fuel (claimed figures).

Elevate SUV

Last but not least, we have the Honda Elevate SUV, which is available with benefits of up to Rs 55,000. The top-spec ZX variant offers discounts of up to Rs 25,000, while other variants come with benefits worth Rs 45,000.

Powering the Honda Elevate is the same 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that powers the Honda City. This engine produces 119 BHP and 145 Nm of torque. Transmission options are also similar, with the 6-speed manual and a CVT gearbox being the only options.

In the Indian market, the Honda Elevate rivals the Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder and the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.

Exports of the Elevate has commenced from India, to Honda’s home market of Japan. The Elevate sold in Japan has been named WR-V. In India, Honda has discontinued the WR-V which was based on the Jazz hatchback.
