Ayurvedic beauty brand Indē Wild has received a $5 million investment from Unilever Ventures. This comes after reaching 400% growth in India and securing an exclusive retail partnership with Sephora.
Founded in 2021 by influencer Diipa Büller-Khosla and her husband Oleg, Indē Wild is a skincare and hair care brand offering ‘Ayurvedistry’ – a blend of Ayurveda and modern chemistry.
Rachel Harris, Partner at Unilever Ventures, said,
“By blending the age-old wisdom of Ayurveda with the efficacy of modern science, indē wild is meeting the holistic needs of today’s beauty consumer in an accessible and comprehensible way.”
The brand is available DTC in India in partnership with Nykaa and is known for its Champi Hair Oil.
This funding round was led by Unilever’s investment firm arm, FMCG, and existing investors SoGal Ventures and True Reinvesting.
Funds will help accelerate the brand’s debut launch in Sephora U.S. in 2026 and expand its existing partnership with Sephora UK.
Last year, Indē Wild signed an exclusive partnership deal with Sephora and was named one of eight brands in the Sephora Accelerate Program, which aims to build a community of ‘inspirational’ brand founders in beauty.
