The Japanese automotive giant Toyota Kirloskar Motor India recently launched its new crossover Urban Cruiser Taisor. As we all know, this model is based on the Maruti Suzuki Fronx. The company, in order to promote its most unique offering in India, has released a new TVC for it. This TVC highlights the active lifestyle that the Taisor is meant to be used for.

The television commercial of the Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor has come courtesy of Toyota India. It starts off with a few exterior shots of the Taisor. It then shows an athlete jumping into an ocean for the first part of a triathlon.
During this, the video shows the interior of the Taisor. It highlights the head-up display that is being offered with the model. Next up, the video shows the sporty nature of this crossover with a shot of a speeding Taisor.
This sequence compares the Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor with another athlete who was riding a bicycle. As the rider makes a gear change on his bicycle, the video highlights the paddle shifters offered with the automatic transmission variant of the Taisor.
Next up, the video highlights the Taisor’s agility and sporty nature with some light off-roading. Following this, it shows the 16-inch diamond-cut 10-spoke alloy wheels of the Taisor. After this, the TVC also shows the wireless charger of the SUV. Overall, this TVC displays that the Taisor can be a huge part of an active lifestyle of young people.

As stated above, the Taisor is based on the Fronx crossover. However, to differentiate this model from the Maruti counterpart, the company has given it a slight redesign on the outside. At the front, it gets a honeycomb pattern grille and brushed silver Toyota emblem. It also gets different-looking LED DRLs.
Moving on to the rear section, the Taisor gets an exactly same rear-end design as the Fronx. The only differences noticeable are the Toyota and Urban Cruiser Taisor badges. It also gets a rear wiper, washer, and defogger as well.
On the inside, the Taisor gets the exact same interior as the Fronx. It gets a 9-inch Smartplay floating touchscreen infotainment system. It uses the same interface as the Maruti Fronx and offers Android Auto and Apple Carplay.
The Taisor also comes equipped with a 360-degree camera, wireless charger, head-up display, automatic climate control system, and a few other features.
The Urban Cruiser Taisor is being offered with the same powertrain options as the Fronx. The first is a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine. This motor makes 90 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque. This engine is offered with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic.
In addition, the company also offers a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine as well. This engine makes 100 PS of power and 147 Nm of torque. As for the transmission options, it is offered with a 5-speed manual as well as a 6-speed automatic transmission. The pricing of the Taisor starts at Rs 7.73 lakh and goes up to Rs 13.03 lakh.
