One thing which can be clearly seen in the video is unlike the dual-screen layout of the XUV700, the XUV.e9 features a distinctive three-screen configuration. This innovative design positions a central infotainment screen alongside a dedicated screen for the front passenger, offering potential for enhanced entertainment and individual user experiences.

The overall design of the dashboard with 3 screens creates a visually striking and technologically advanced driver’s environment. The video revealed all three horizontal displays illuminated and operational, further increasing the anticipation for the upcoming launch.

Other than the dashboard, the XUV.e9 is expected to inherit several design elements from the XUV.e8, its electric sibling. These include a sleek coupe-like silhouette, stylish alloy wheels, and distinctive front and rear LED lighting. The XUV.e9 is built upon Mahindra’s new-age INGLO platform, specifically designed for electric vehicles.

The XUV.e9 is expected to offer battery packs ranging from 60 kWh to 80 kWh, catering to diverse driving needs. Additionally, the SUV will likely be available in both single-motor and dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) variants.

The XUV.e9, with its innovative features and focus on technological advancements, positions itself as a strong contender in the growing electric SUV segment. The official launch of the XUV.e9 is eagerly awaited, as it holds the potential to redefine the driving experience and set a new benchmark for in-car technology within the Indian automotive landscape.

This includes the continued use of physical knobs and buttons for crucial functions like climate control and hazard lights, alongside familiar stalks on the steering wheel for headlight and wiper controls. This blend of innovative technology and familiar functionality caters to a wider range of driver preferences.

It is anticipated that the XUV.e9 will be a significant player in the Indian EV market, not just for its unique features but also for its potential competitiveness. Mahindra’s established presence in the Indian automotive market, coupled with its commitment to sustainable mobility solutions, positions the XUV.e9 as a vehicle to watch in the coming years.
