Pesce was a technical and formal innovator in using the material and experimenting with the resin to create new forms, shapes, processes, and formulas. Bosa’s Most Illustrious Michele Totem
Most of Elena Salmistraro’s illustrious Michele decor pieces are a nod and appreciation to the greats of Italian design. Bosa created a series of three-dimensional clay sculptures coated in coloured enamel exquisitely adorned with coloured glazes. Available at Space Furniture, these totemic items (16 x 13 x 36cm) highlight the special bond that develops between the creator and his creations — “we are what we create” — by fusing the distinctive qualities of the designers with the pieces that made them well-known worldwide. Designed for Danish lighting brand Louis Poulsen, the luminaire’s body and diffuser are made from recycled polymer and it is also fitted with a genuine leather strap to carry it around.
