Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen

After Gisele Bundchen’s divorce, Tom Brady says: “It’s an extremely amicable situation.”

After Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady announced their separation last week, Brady now opens up.

SiriusXM’s podcast “Let’s Go!” was discussed. Jim Gray, Larry Fitzgerald, and Tom Brady discussed the split with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback.

Brady said, “Obviously, it’s a very amicable arrangement and I’ve focused on two things: taking good care of my family, certainly my children, and secondly, doing my best to win football games.” That’s what professionals do. When it’s time for work, you are focused on work and when it’s over, you return home to focus on your priorities.

Brady and Bundchen were married in 2009, after their relationship began in December 2006, when Bundchen was introduced to them by a mutual friend.

“All that you can do is what you’re capable of doing. Brady said that this is what Brady will continue doing as long I work and as long I’m a father.

The 45-year-old athlete spoke out about his struggles with compartmentalizing his work life and revealed that he has had to deal with many difficult situations over his 23-year public career.

“I have always said that we are not actors.” He said that even though we are on television, it is still our true selves out there. “We are trying to do what we can. Through being on television, people have come to know me through that.

The Buccaneers currently have a losing streak of three games and a record of 3-5.

Brady said, “We all face unique challenges in our lives.” We are all human. The seven-time Super Bowl champ said that we do our best. I have amazing parents who have taught me the right way. I want to be a father that is great with my children. You must be able to handle any challenges in your life.

Brady said, “So I want always to be able to keep my head up on the field, so I’m going to try to continue that for as long I’m here.”

Brady and Bundchen end their divorce

Tom Brady’s comments are less than a week after Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady announced that they would be parting ways.

This announcement came in the middle of Brady’s 23rd NFL Season, just months after the seven-time Super Bowl champ ended his brief retirement.

Brady and Bundchen shared statements on Instagram, each claiming they had “amicably” reached their decision.

Brady shared the following in his Instagram Story:

“My wife and I have finalized our separation after 13 years of marriage. We reached this agreement amicably, and we are grateful for the time spent together.”

Bundchen also posted a statement to her Instagram, which included the following:

“Ending a marriage is not an easy decision. However, we have grown apart. While it is difficult to go through such a process, I feel blessed for the time that we shared and wish Tom all the best.

PEOPLE Magazine was told by a source that the couple had agreed to share custody.

A source said that the settlement was complete. “They have been working on terms for a long time.”
