Madhavan and his family are all currently living in Dubai, and the actor bought a house there. He mentions in the interview that this is the most expensive thing he owns. Other than the house, the actor also owns a 40-foot yacht. This happens to be the most expensive purchase after the house.
He can be heard saying in the interview that he always dreamt of obtaining a captain’s license and owning a yacht. He bought the yacht just to fulfill his dream. He said, “I bought it because I always wanted to take a captain’s license and during Covid I had nothing to do so I gave my exam and it took me six months. So, now I am a licensed captain who can sail a 40-foot yacht or a boat and just to scratch that off my bucket list, I bought the yacht and I enjoy it thoroughly.”
Now that he has the captain’s license, he often takes the yacht out to sea and parks it overnight on calm seas. He uses the yacht as a space to think and write stories. The yacht is parked in Dubai. He calls it the best purchase of his life. Other than the yacht, Madhavan loves bikes and owns several expensive models in his garage.
Yamaha V-Max
He owns a Yamaha V-Max. It has been officially discontinued by the manufacturer. V-Max is powered by a 1,679 cc liquid-cooled V4 engine that generates 197 bhp and 166 Nm of peak torque. It was one of the most uniquely designed motorcycles in the market, offering the comfort of a cruiser and the power of a superbike.
Indian Roadmaster
This bike was bought by Madhavan back in 2017. The bike was bought in India, but it looks like the actor took it to Dubai and got it re-registered when he shifted with his family. Indian Roadmaster is an extremely comfortable cruiser that uses a 1,811 cc V-twin four-stroke engine, generating 100 bhp and 150 Nm of peak torque.
Honda Goldwing
