The Austrian bike manufacturing giant, KTM, is gearing up to launch two bikes in the country. The first will be the 2024 KTM Adventure 390, while the other model will be the 2024 KTM Enduro 390. Recently, both of these bikes were spotted testing on a highway. The spy video reveals a number of new details about these upcoming adventure and rally bikes.
This spy video of the KTM Adventure and Enduro 390 comes courtesy of The Fat Biker from YouTube. It starts with the two bikes riding side by side on a highway. The first detail highlighted in the video is the use of different tires on both bikes.
The left bike, which is the Enduro 390, gets a more off-road-focused tire. On the other hand, the Adventure 390 on the right side gets a more road-biased tire. The video then goes on to highlight various details about these two upcoming bikes.
2024 KTM Enduro: Details
Next up, the video focuses on the KTM Enduro motorcycle on the left. It can be noted that this cross-country rally-type motorcycle will not come with a grab handle. It was also mentioned in the video that the reason it can be noted that these models are for India is the presence of a saree guard.
The KTM Enduro will come equipped with staggered wheel sizing. This means the front wheel will be bigger than the rear wheel. The upcoming KTM Enduro will get wire-spoke wheels. The front will get a 21-inch wheel, meanwhile the rear will get an 18-inch wheel.
Apart from this, it will get longer suspension and wheel travel. Along with it, the bike will also get higher ground clearance compared to the Adventure 390. It will also get an offset monoshock rear suspension like the Duke. Here are the KTM motorcycles that you can get for sub Rs 3 lakh.
Additionally, it will get a flat Enduro single-piece seat, smaller headlights, and a taller handlebar. The test mule was also seen with a bash plate, radiator guard, and high-rise mudguards. Disc brakes were seen on both ends of the bike.
2024 KTM Adventure 390: Details
Following the Enduro, the video then focuses on the 2024 KTM Adventure 390. The new Adventure 390 will come with a taller windscreen and a two-pot headlight design. Both pots were seen with projector LED lights.
Like the Enduro and the Duke 390, it will also get an offset rear monoshock suspension. Additionally, the LED taillights have been redesigned along with different rear grab handles. This time around, the Adventure 390 will also get a wider, contoured single-piece seat.
The Adventure 390 was also seen with the same bash plate, radiator guard, and high-rise mudguard at the front. It will also get a new digital instrument gauge cluster to display essential vehicle details.
Powerplant Details
Most likely, both the 2024 Enduro 390 and Adventure 390 will come equipped with the newly developed 399 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine.
This engine produces 45.3 bhp and 39 Nm of peak torque. Most likely, it will come paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Other goodies might include a new quickshifter, slipper clutch, adjustable levers, and more.
Additionally, the company could also offer these bikes with dual-channel ABS, cornering ABS, and traction control along with other features. The pricing of these could be in the range of Rs 3.5 to 3.6 lakh.
