Mumbai vs Chennai Preview: Whose first blow .. These are the teams entering the ring!

Hyderabad: The long awaited occasion of the last few days has come. The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 season is set to begin in a few hours, with the question of whether the corona will actually take place in the background. The first match will be between defending champions Mumbai Indians and three-time title winner Chennai Super Kings. Both the teams are eager to start this IPL journey with success.

While the Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians want to maintain their dominance, the Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings are looking forward to avenging their defeat in last year’s final. Horrific fighting is inevitable as both teams are equal in terms of strengths. The fun that the fans want will be available in the first match itself. Both the teams have played 30 matches so far and Mumbai have won 18 times and Chennai 12 times.

Ten seasons .. three times winner .. five times runner up .. once semis … once again play offs .. this is the Chennai Super Kings track record in IPL. But the strength of CSK is all Dhoni. There is no doubt about it. International players .. The match depends on Dhoni’s tactics on the ground. This is an all-rounders team. The most trusted players are Watson, Duplessis and Rayudu. The trio are adept at getting runs under any pressure. If they move, they will not return to Chennai.

Rayudu in Raina Place ..
The absence of Suresh Raina and spinner Harbhajan Singh, who left the league for personal reasons, is a setback. In either case, CSK’s strength would have doubled. It would have been nice if all the pitches in the UAE had bhajji in the wake of the news that it was spin-friendly. No.-3 looks empty with Raina absent. Watson, however, is likely to replace Raina Place with Rayudu while Duplessis is likely to make the opening. With him, Dhoni and Jadhav will share midfielder responsibilities.

All-rounders Ravindra Jadeja, Dwayne Bravo .. Diamond weapons in CSK Ammulapodi. It is certain that they will get a chance in the final team. The advantage of having a lot of bowling combinations too. Bravo Pace will share the responsibilities with Deepak Chahar and Shardhul Thakur. Along with Jadeja, Imran Tahir and Piyush Chawla will enter the ring as spinners. With a part-time spinner in the form of Kedar Jadhav, Engidi could replace Tahir if he wants another pacer.

Strong Mumbai ..
Getting in trouble at the beginning .. bouncing in the middle .. playing erratically at the end … Mumbai Indians‌‌ style‌. However that team is balanced in all respects. Destructive batsman Chris Lynn is likely to be given a chance in the first match. Rohit Sharma, along with Quinton Decock, is likely to start the Mumbai innings. Surya Kumar Yadav, Ishant Kishan and Kieran Pollard are even stronger in the middle order. Pollard Farm in particular will be joining the team. After that the batting line-up was good with Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya and Rahul Chahar up to eighth position.

The same Mumbai problem ..
Mumbai is strong in batting. The lack of that level in bowling is a problem for the team. Mumbai does not have quality spinners to match the UAE pitches. Rahul Chahar and Krunal Pandya, who fit in the final squad, are run-saving spinners rather than wicket-taking bowlers. With Malinga absent, the pace will not be on Bumra. He also appeared in the New Zealand series. He needs to prove himself.

Kiwis speedster Trent Boult, who was taken over by Trading from Delhi Capital, will share the pace with Bumrah. Another pacer, Nathan Coulter, could be one of McLegan’s finalists.
